What is the ezi mobile app?

The app is a mobile app that provides public households a convenient way to recycle. The app provides an interactive educational platform that is engaging, intuitive and easy to use. Public households can book a recyclables collection easily and earn incentives for doing so.

How do I download the app?

Which mobile devices and operating systems are compatible with the app?

Our app works best on Android devices operating on Android version Oreo 8.0 and above, and on Apple devices operating on iOS Version 11 and above.


Must I create an account?

An account is needed to book a recycling collection. However, you may still access the educational content without an account

How do I register an account to book for a recyclables collection?

You will be prompted to log in when you click on the “Start Recycling” or recycling button in the tool bar. Click ‘Register’ at the bottom of the page and fill in your mobile number or email address. An OTP will be sent to your selected user ID and you can start recycling!


I am having trouble registering for an account, why is this so?

The app currently supports Android version Oreo 8.0 and above, and on Apple devices operating on iOS Version 11 and above. Do also ensure that you have the latest version of the app. The app will not work on devices that have been 'jailbroken'.


How do I update my personal details?

You can change your personal details when you click on the 'Edit' button at the 'My Account' page.


Can I change my email address under my profile?

If you have registered using a mobile number, you may change your email address when by clicking on the 'Edit' button at the 'My Account' page.

You cannot change your email address if it is your registration ID


What if I lose my mobile device?

We highly encourage you to input your email address or an additional number into your account. This information can be used for account recovery if you are unable to access your account.

Do remember to update your details before changing. We highly encourage you to input your email address or an additional number into your account. This information can be used for account recovery if you are unable to access your account.

What is the QR code in my account for?

The QR code is unique to each user's account and can be used at our recycling events.

ezi collectors will scan your QR code to record details of your recyclables. The information will then be shown in your account once the collection is completed.


How can I book a recyclables collection?

Do note that you will need to create an account to make a booking.


I booked for a recyclable collection, but I did not receive a confirmation. Is my booking successful?

Upon completing the request form, you should receive a confirmation that request has been submitted. You should receive a booking confirmation within 24 hours (working day). Should you facing any issues, please call us at 6854 6208 or write to us at ezi.recycling@sembcorp.com.


I booked for a recyclable collection, but I wish to cancel it. How do I cancel my booking?

After the booking is confirmed, you will see a "Pending" request on the Home or Activity screen. You may click to view the details, edit or cancel the booking.


I booked for a recyclable collection, but nobody came to collect it!

Our apologies, please check the details of the collection by clicking on the request on the Activity screen.

There are no collection slots available for my location!

We’re sorry, presently, collection services are restricted to the Woodlands area (postal codes beginning with 73). We have launched a new collection feature (QR code) that enables us to organise centralised collections throughout our public waste collector sectors. Over the next few months, we hope to establish arrangements with more partners, so that residents can drop off their recyclables at other convenient locations too.


What if I don’t live within the pilot phase zone now, are there any other locations that I can drop off my recyclables?

We have launched a new collection feature (QR code) that enables us to organise centralised collections throughout our public waste collector sectors. Over the next few months, we hope to establish arrangements with more partners, so that residents can drop off their recyclables at other convenient locations too.


I think I did not choose the correct category for my recyclable; can I amend my booking?

Yes! After the booking is confirmed, you will see a "Pending" request on the Home or Activity screen. You may click to view the details, edit or cancel the booking.


I can’t submit my request form!

 

We apologise for the inconvenience. Please ensure you have filled in all the mandatory fields

  1. Type of material for every picture you have taken

  3. PayNow details (if payment option has been selected)

    This is necessary is you require token rewards for recycling. Otherwise, simply select the "I'll Recycle for Free" option and submit your request form

I just want to recycle! No payment needed. Can I still book for a collection?

Yes! Simply select the "I'll Recycle for Free" option at the end of your collection request form. Thank you for saving the earth!

Yes! Simply approach any of our team members and they will collect your recyclables for free. Thank you for saving the earth!


I booked a recyclables collection, but will not be at home. Do I have to be physically present at home during the collection or can someone else hand over the recyclables? Can I just leave my recyclables outside my home?

If you have booked a collection, there needs to be someone at home to confirm the transaction. You will not be able to leave these recyclables outside your home as our ezi collectors will need to verify your contribution.


I did not schedule a collection. Can I still participate in recycling events?

Yes! Simply create an account, bring your recyclables down to our friendly ezi collectors and complete a recyclables collection on-site.

Ensure that you have input your PayNow details via your 'Account' page to receive rewards.


I do not have a PayNow account, will I still be able to receive payment?

Unfortunately PayNow is our only in-App Reward feature as of now. PayNow can be used across major banks in Singapore. Log in to your bank's internet or mobile banking portal, and you will be able to register for PayNow through the app or website.


I need to change my PayNow account details, how do I do that?

You can change your PayNow details when you click on the 'Edit'button at the 'My Account' page. Please ensure your PayNow details are correct in order to receive payment


Must my PayNow details be the same as my registered mobile number?

No your PayNow details need not be the same as your registered mobile number. You may also use the same PayNow details for multiple ezi app accounts


Collection has been completed by I have not received payment.

Payment will be processed within 14 days of the collection date. Please ensure your PayNow details are inputted accurately in your Account details. You will be notified in the event of Payment Failure to check and revise your PayNow details.
